Anthony J. Aiello

June 4, 1931 — December 2, 2018

Brighton Heights

Anthony J.  "Uncle Tony" Aiello, on Sunday, December 2, 2018, son of the late Joseph and Josephine Aiello. Loving Brother of Elizabeth Oberst, Mary Ann Petitta, and the late Isabel Sestrich.  Second father to his nieces and nephews Diane, Bill (Maggie), David (Linda), Steve (Sheonia), Chris (Roxanne), and Lisa Oberst, and Domenic (Pam) Petitta, Kristen (Ron) Frankovich, and Michael (Samantha Porco) Petitta.  Also committed to his 19 great- nieces and nephews, his great-great niece and great-great nephew.  Uncle Tony was a man driven by faith and lived a life full of love and good deeds.  Proud graduate of Duquesne University, Tony served in the Army and retired from US Steel. His pastimes always included sports with a fond passion for golf.  Uncle Tony was proud to devote his time to Christian works and helping others.  He was often seen wearing his "I Love Jesus" hat.  We are comforted in knowing that his devotion to God and the Catholic Church has brought him to the face of Jesusl.  His commitment to his family will live on through our hearts forever.  The family extends gratitude to Vincentian Home and the AGN Hospice care.
