Deacon Charles Louis O'Keefe

Deacon Charles Louis O'Keefe, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones.  Born in Pittsburgh on August 8, 1927, the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth O'Keefe; devoted husband of the late Mary Catherine "Cassie" O'Keefe, his wife of 67 years; loving father to his children, Sharon (Bob) O'Brien, Clark (Marsha) O'Keefe, and Marianne (Ken) Burchell; cherished grandfather of 11 grandchldren; and 19 great-grandchildren; brother of David O'Keefe and the late Betty Wallace; survived by many nieces and nephews.  He resided at the Little Sisters of the Poor Home for many years.  Ordained a Deacon for the Diocese of Pittsburgh on June 8, 1974.  WWII veteran of the Pacific Theater.  Past Executive Director of the Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
