Betty N. (Crowley) Bookser, age 95, of Brighton Heights, on Thursday, October 29, 2015; Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Bookser; mother of Marilynn (Ken) Berner, Michael (Peggy) Bookser, and the late Russell N. (late Debbie) Bookser; grandmother of Christopher (Heather) Berner, Kelly (Mike) Ross and Michael (Katie) Bookser; great-grandmother of Faith Berner, Caroline Berner, Jackson Ross, Peter Ross and Abraham Ross; aunt of Eileen Crowley.
Betty was a founding member of the Brighton Heights Citizen's Federation and the Riverview Manor Board, a volunteer for many years at St. John's General Hospital and John Morrow Elementary School, Meals on Wheels and a Girl Scout Leader. She was an oil paint artist, stained glass artist and an accomplished calligrapher.
