Earl Russell Shaw, Jr.

Earl Russell Shaw, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.  Beloved Husband of Janet Shaw; Father of Patrick (Christine) Shaw, Erin (Rick) Wadas, Carrie Shaw and Earl R. (Kerri) Shaw III; Grandfather of Megan, Abby, Mitchell, Cody, Trenton, Elise, R.J., Rocco and Spencer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Earl honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Years later, he became a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter and proudly served for 29 years protecting the community. Beyond the uniform, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He especially enjoyed spending time with the grandkids. They were the light of his life. He was a great guy.

Visitation on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212;  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in Christ Our Savior Parish , St. Cyril of Alexandria Church.  

Private Family Only Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA   15017.
