Jacqueline "Jackie" Smith

Jackie Smith, 49, of Butler, PA, passed away on July 7, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, a cherished sister, an amazing aunt, and the best friend anyone could have.  Jackie was born on March 11, 1977 to Bill and Chris Smith. She had such a huge heart for people be they her biological family, her work family, her Pittsburgh friends, her Butler friends, and so many others. She will be sorely missed.

Jackie was a graduate of Northgate High School where she was involved in numerous school activities, including student council, majorettes, and color guard. This is where her love of Halloween began. Jackie worked at One Main Financial for over twenty five years through multiple buyouts and mergers. Regardless of the name of the company, Jackie always stayed.  Because Jackie was a stayer. Once she greeted you with her beautiful, welcoming smile, you most probably became one of her people.  Jackie loved fiercely and was loved by so very many people.   She has left an enormous hole in this world that will never be filled.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Chris; her sister, Tracy; her brother, Will; her nieces, Emily and Autumn; her nephews, Ian and Aiden; and her dog-child, Rousey.   She was preceded in death by her father, William Smith; her grandparents, Vernon and Margaret Harvey, and Paul and Marion Smith; and her dog-children, Zac and Ozzie.

Jackie’s celebration of life will be held at Thomas Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue,  Pittsburgh, PA, 15212 on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 followed by  a service presided over by Pastor Chuck Gohn. The family invites all who knew her to attend and share their favorite memories.
