Joan A. Bezila

Joan A. Bezila passed away on Friday August 29, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret Bezila; she was the Sister of the late Dolores " Dee" ( the late Daniel) Creedon;  Aunt of Dan (Wendy) Creedon, Dave (Cheryl) Creedon, Dennis (Valerie) Creedon  and many great-nieces , great nephews, and friends.  Joan graduated from Mt. Assisi Academy in 1955. Her career started as a cosmetologist, then later venturing to Bell Telephone, starting as a plug in operator, working her way up and eventually retiring from the corporation.  A dog lover, Joan leaves behind her best friend, a white ball of fur named Spunky.  In the 1960's and 70's, Joan performed and sang with the Pittsburgh based choral group the Musicanters.  Joan loved the holidays and each and every holiday included marathon games like Yahtzee, Uno, and 500 Rummy.  Joan loved and dedicated her life to her church and family.

  Relatives and friends will be received Sunday 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212.    A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Basil Church (Blessed Trinity Parish) at 10:30 am. Please, meet at the funeral home by 9:00 am.
