John Backovsky, Jr., of McCandless Township, on Saturday June 23, 2018; Beloved husband of the late Verna; Father of Marianne (David) Easton, Michael (Cynthia) Backovski, and Margaret (William) Wamboldt; Loving Pappy of Kara (Ken) Wall, Adrien Wamboldt, Andrew (Fiancee Lisa) Backovski, Allison Backovski and Katherine Backovski; Great-grandfather of Edith and Kurt Wall. Son of the late John and Anna Backovski; Brother of George (late Patricia) Backovski and the late Margaret, Tessie, Dorothy, Mildred and Anna; also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was the owner of John's Meat Market in Ingomar, and he was an avid Pirates fan.
