John T. Stringert, Jr.

John T. Stringert, Jr., age 83 of Woods Run, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026.  Beloved Husband of Rosemary M. (Pancurak) Stringert, Jr.,  the Bestest Dad of  Katherine (Kenneth) Egler, and Christine (Steven) Shaw; Grandfather of Kenneth Egler, Jr., Steven Shaw, Jr., Kristopher Egler, Brandy Shaw, and Klayton Egler; Great-grandfather of Emery Shaw,  Elinor Egler and Daphne Egler;  Son of the late John and Catherine Stringert, Sr.; Brother of Craig Glevicky, Barb Walker, Roberta Nicotra and Robert Stringert. John was a retired Captain of the City of Pittsburgh Firefighters and a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

NO VISITATION; SERVICE AND BURIAL AT THE NATIONAL CEMETERY OF THE ALLEGHENIES THURSDAY APRIL 16, 2026. 10:30 AM.  Meet at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. 9:15 AM. Procession to leave for Cemetery 9:30 AM.
