Marcedes "Marcy" Edwards

Marcedes "Marcy" Edwards, passed peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, July 31, 2025.  Beloved Wife of Dennis D. “Butch” Edwards; Mother of Dwayne Curtis Edwards (Tina), and the late Emerick M. Buccigrossi,  Stepmother of David Edwards; Grandmother of Brittany Miller, Tyler James Edwards, Nathan Curtis Edwards,  Savanna Joy, Emerick and Mario Buccigrossi; Daughter of the late George  and Sadie Lopez; Sister of Victoria Lopez, Margie Lopez, and the late Rosemary Lopez and George Lopez, Jr.;  Marcy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Best friend of Cathie Lambert Schmitt for 57 years. Marcy was a people person, very outgoing and she was always the life of the party.

Relatives and friends will be received from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212.  Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 am in Christ Our Savior, St. Cyril of Alexandria Church.    Entombment will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
