Margaret M. Boothby

Margaret M. Boothby, age 94 went to be with the Lord  on Monday September 1, 2025. Beloved wife of the late James T. Boothby; Mother of Darlene (Craig) Mrazek; daughter of the late John and Frances Platek; Grandmother of Evadne "Evy" Lape;  Sister of the late Walter Platek, John Platek, Frances Wisniewski, Wiliam Platek, Euguene Platek and Joseph Platek; ; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Margaret was a longtime employee of Point Park University where she was a salad chef.  She was a girl scout leader of Troop 1065.  She loved her family, going camping, animals and shopping.  Margaret  was a lifetime member of the Catholic Church.  She loved the Lord and attending mass.  She will be missed by many.  

Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 10th from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212 where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm following visitation.  Interment to follow in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.
