Robert E. Stanger, age 78, of Evans City, on Sunday, July 9, 2017; Survived by his former wife, Mary Kathryn Stanger; Beloved Father of Joseph R. Stanger, Robert E. (Kim) Stanger and Stephen J. Stanger; Grandfather of Justin, Madeline, Matthew, Nicholas and Kylie; son of the late Robert L. and Julia Stanger; Brother of Margie Patsilevas and Eileen (Thomas) Baier; Bob served as Security Detail for four Pittsburgh Mayors: Sophie Masloff, Richard Caligiuri, Pete Flaherty and Joe Barr; He retired in 1992. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10 am in Risen Lord Church.
