Roy W. Eckert, age 98, of Avalon, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022; Husband of the late Lillian Eckert; Stepfather of Ronald (Ruth) Gredlein and David (Mary Ann) Gredlein; Grandfather of Renee (Martin) Flaherty, Randall (Crystal) Gredlein, Rochelle (Kevin) Tuscik, Deanna (Bruce) VanMaurik, and Ryan Gredlein; also survived by seven great-grandchildren; Son of the late George and Zelda May Eckert; Brother of the late Dorothy May Eckert. Roy was an Army Air Force Veteran of WWII. Friends and Family will be received on Saturday from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc, 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm following visitation. Interment in Union Dale Cemetery, Division #3.
