Sandra Emma Zabierowsky

Sandra Emma (Madl) Zabierowsky, age 81, of the North Side,  went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2024;  Beloved Wife of John Jeffrey "Jeff"  Zabierowsky; Loving Mother of Mark Zabierowsky,  Amy (Robert) Guckert, and Joyce (John) Bowman; Grandmother of Sandy Lynn Zabierowsky - Special Grandaughter "Daughter",   Bobby (Carla) Guckert, Mason Guckert, Shelby Guckert and A.J. Bowman; Great-grandmother of Austin Harp and Haley Harp; Daughter of the late Albert and Anna Louise (Schrettner) Madl; Sister of Carol Ann Toomey; Sandy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends received on Tuesday from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc., 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA   15212.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday  at 10:00 A.M. in Christ Our Savior Parish, St. Cyril of Alexandria Church.  Interment will be in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery at a later date.

Sandy attended Perry High School and later obtained her Real Estate License.  She retired from Allegheny County as a Purchasing Agent.  She attended Incarnation of the Lord Church and volunteered in various positions.  Sandy was an avid reader and enjoyed doing cross stitch.  She loved having a house full of pets, especially her dogs.  Her joy in life was her family.  Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was infectious.
