Walter (Wladyk) Hnatow passed away at age 73, of Conneaut, Ohio formerly of North Side, Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2026. Beloved father of Yvonne M. Sigecan; brother of Steve Hnatow, Maria Zaccaria and the late Olga Kennedy; uncle of Paul Slepski, Lisa Slepski, Michelle Stoltz, Johnny Zaccaria, Christopher Zaccaria, and Elizabeth Zaccaria; Walt was a great- uncle to Alexa Stoltz. Visitation on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 12 noon at the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, Inc. 3552 California Avenue at Davis Avenue, Pittsburgh , PA 15212. Interment to follow in Highwood Cemetery with Military Honors. In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church 3455 California Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
