Kathleen M. (Hudy) Yurkovich

Kathleen M. (Hudy) Yurkovich, age 75, of Brighton Heights, went to be with the Lord suddenly on Friday, August 25, 2023; Beloved Wife of Edward Yurkovich; Mother of Gregory(Lindsey), Amy (Al) and Matthew Yurkovich; she loved all her Grandpups; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins  Daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Hudy.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                A Celebration of Kathy's life will be held at a future date.  Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.  She was the heart of her family and would selflessly do anything for others.  She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.  She was loved immensely by her husband and children.  Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in their lives.

One of her favorite things to do was bake for family, friends, and neighbors.  She will forever be known as the "best cookie baker and pierogi maker in Pittsburgh" by the patrons of Allegheny City Brewing.

Kathy was a long-time member of the Ladies of Charity for St. Cyril's, as well as the candy stand organizer for the yearly festival.  She loved a good book and was a member of the Woods Run Library book club.

Kathy was a firm believer in finding, and directly helping those in need.  In lieu of flowers, please help us carry on here belief of selfless giving and provide for someone in need.
