Thomas P. Kunsak grew up in Brighton Heights and still resides there. After graduating from Oliver High School, Tom attended Point Park University and in 1964 graduated from the Pittsubrgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Tom married Barbara (Gagorik) in 1967 and has three children, Thomas, Timothy, Jennifer and ten grandchildren. Along with being an active parishioner of St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church and several organizations including the Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the Northside Chamber of Commerce, Tom enjoys attending Pirate games and traveling.
Barbara C. Kunsak has been a familiar face and backbone of Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home since its early start. Barbara is a graduate of Glassport High School and Robert Morris University . She attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1979 Valedictorian of her class. Along with being an active parishioner of Risen Lord Parish and the Catholic Daughters of America, Barbara was awarded a Community Volunteer of the Year Award from the Norhtside Leadership Conference. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys gardening and sharing as much time as possible with her ten grandchildren.
Timothy P. Kunsak, another lifelong resident of Brighton Heights , has been an employee at the funeral home since 1992. After graduating from North Catholic High School, Tim attended Robert Morris University and also graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1992. Tim and his wife Andrea (Rodrigues) are active parishioners of St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish and members of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America. They currently reside in Brighton Heights with their children Timothy, Isabella and twins Anthony and Matthew. In his spare time, Tim enjoys home repair, the Steelers and fatherhood.
Thomas P. Kunsak, Jr., has been a funeral director with the Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home sine 1994. After attending North Catholic High School , Tom attended the University of Pittsburgh and then graduated in 1994 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Tom and his wife Charlotte (Olivito) are members of St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church and currently reside in Ross Township with their children Hannah and Nikolai. Tom is an avid hunter and enjoys reading.
